Introduction
The Asia Pacific Conference on Postgraduate Research in Microelectronics & Electronics (PrimeAsia) is a new initiative of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society for engaging students. It aims to provide opportunities for postgraduate students to present their research works and to interact with people in the research community and industry. Although all the papers at PrimeAsia 2009 will be presented by postgraduate students, experienced people from academia and industry are warmly invited to attend, in order to create a stimulating environment for favoring exchange of knowledge and mentoring of young researchers. In addition to the conference program, tutorials on emerging technologies will be conducted by internationally renowned experts, some sessions will be dedicated to companies, enabling students to get in touch with companies and other institutions.

Paper Awards
All papers will go through a peer review process. Papers rated in top 30% with a student as the first author will receive one of the followings awards:
Top 10% will receive the GOLD LEAF Certificate
10-20% will receive the SILVER LEAF Certificate
20-30% will receive the BRONZE LEAF Certificate
